This image has kicked around for a while. It started as a woodblock, but I transferred it to linoleum to allow room on the block for a habitat for this fantastic creature. When I asked my kids where it should live, one said "water," and the other said "space", so I thought, "Why not both?" I like to think of it as an inter-dimensional, omniphibious creature from a creation myth from a galaxy far, far away.
