Origen de la Emoción is the beginning of a graphic novel idea that has percolated in the back of my mind for decades: illustrating my father’s life story. These seven panels tell my father's story about his birth and a cold toad that found its way to warm itself against his infant body. According to my father, this toad is why he gets very emotional when speaking about things close to his heart.
